BALCONIES ÖBB SPITTAL AN DER DRAU, CARL-WURMB-WEG 4 AND 6 – RENOVATION OF HISTORIC TENEMENT BLOCKS
Client: ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG, renovation of 48 flats, implementation period: 2019–2022, service phases provided: LPH 1–9
The new balconies complement the historic building as independent structures detached from the façade, and their design references the existing gable projections. The deliberately placed joint emphasises the sensitive treatment of the historic building fabric and extends it with high-quality outdoor spaces.
